Our whole school approach to safeguarding is based upon an understanding of the local context and an attitude of 'it could happen here'.

We aim to:

• To create a secure environment within which the pupils/students will develop a sense of self-esteem and feel confident to advocate for themselves
• To build a working partnership with parents/carers which will inspire confidence and promote mutual support and consistency between home and school
• To co-operate positively with other professionals and specialist services in order for the needs of the whole child to be addressed
• To encourage two way interaction between school and the local community to promote inclusive opportunities for our pupils/students

From September 2026, new statutory guidance on allergy awareness and anaphylaxis in schools came into effect. We have updated our Allergen Policy to reflect this guidance and help keep our pupils safe. https://www.lseat.greenhousecms.co.uk/Policies/
